As we near the close of another remarkable year, we reflect on a series of exciting developments and milestones that have taken place at HaloCare.
From engaging with government leaders to receiving industry recognition and sharing our experiences and knowledge, it's been a year of growth and innovation for HaloCare.

Enterprise Ireland Innovation Journey Campaign
In 2024, we were delighted to become part of the Innovation Journey Campaign, supported by Enterprise Ireland. Enterprise Ireland has been a trusted partner for HaloCare that has provided us with essential investment and market intelligence, enabling us to thrive in the healthcare sector.
Welcoming An Tánaiste Micheál Martin & Minister Stephen Donnelly to HaloCare Headquarters
In October, we had the distinct honour of hosting An Tánaiste Micheál Martin at the HaloCare Headquarters. The visit was a significant moment for us, as it allowed us to showcase how our cutting-edge home care solutions are supporting individuals across Ireland to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.
In 2024, HaloCare also warmly received a visit from Stephen Donnelly, Minister for Health and Fianna Fáil TD for Wicklow, to HaloCare Headquarters.
Micheál Martin’s and Minister Stephen Donnelly's visits reinforced the importance of innovation in the healthcare sector, and HaloCare’s role in transforming the way care is delivered at home.
Award Nominations and Industry Recognition
2024 has been an exciting year for HaloCare in terms of industry recognition. We were honoured to be nominated for the Innovation of the Year Award by Business & Finance Media Group, an accolade that speaks to the impact of our innovative care technology and the positive difference it is making in people’s lives.
Additionally, David Walsh, Co-Founder and Executive Chairperson of HaloCare, was shortlisted for Business Person of the Year. David’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in HaloCare’s growth, and this recognition is a testament to his commitment to reshaping the future of care at home.
Exhibitions & Networking
Over the course of 2024 HaloCare was delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit and network at a series of high-profile events and exhibitions.
During the month of September, Martin Dunne HaloCare’s Managing Director, was selected to speak at the GovConnect conference in London. Martin provided his unique insight into the health sector and shared the importance of social inclusion for those living independently.
HaloCare also exhibited at the Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI) Annual Conference 2024, one of the premier events in the healthcare sector. This conference is an excellent platform for industry leaders, healthcare professionals, and innovators to come together and discuss the future of healthcare in Ireland.
These events presented a fantastic opportunity to engage with other stakeholders in the healthcare space and network with individuals with a shared vision of what an innovative healthcare sector could look like.
