HaloCare Warmly Welcomes The U.S. Ambassador to Ireland

Ambassador Cronin saw first-hand the state of the art HaloCare facilities.

U.S. Ambassador, Claire D. Cronin, paid a visit to HaloCare’s headquarters in Co. Carlow on Wednesday, 13th April '2022. The Ambassador was greeted by HaloCare’s CEO, Sarah Jane O’Dwyer and David Walsh, Chairman and Co-Founder.

The aim of her visit was to learn more about HaloCare's innovative work in enabling people to live independent, healthier lives in their own homes through supportive technology.

The HaloCare team brought the Ambassador on a tour of HaloCare’s Living Labs and 24/7 Care Hub. The Ambassador was also delighted to hear about HaloCare's vision for international growth and particularly, their plans to bring the benefits of the HaloCare solution to the US market.

Co-Founder of HaloCare, David Walsh greeted the Ambassador and said: “I was thrilled to welcome Ambassador Claire D. Cronin to our state-of-the-art headquarters in Carlow." David continued: “In early 2021, we decided to take on a new venture called HaloCare. HaloCare is a leader in smart healthcare innovation and utilises wireless unobtrusive technology to allow people to live a better quality of life. HaloCare has ambitious plans to move into the U.S market. Having Ambassador Cronin with us, further solidifies Irish and American relations and opens a door for opportunities for HaloCare in the future.”

HaloCare is a solution for people who wish to remain living independently in their own homes and who need a little extra support. Through supportive technology that works seamlessly in the background, HaloCare clients have complete peace of mind when homecare or family carers cannot be there. Should an emergency occur, real-time information is sent to the Care Hub where trained specialists can react, respond and reassure.
